John Patrick Walsh, AIA, NCARB - Principal
The firm was established in April 2003 and has grown steadily in work and recognition since, completing numerous residential and small commercial projects in the Southeastern Connecticut and the South County Rhode Island areas.

John Patrick Walsh, AIA holds architecture licenses in both CT and RI, is a licensed Interior Designer in CT, and is a member of both the AIA and NCARB. He is a former member of the US Green Building Council and former certified LEEDS Accredited Professional. Additionally, John served as an Assistant Professor in the Architecture, Construction Management, Interior Design, and Building Technology Department at the New England Institute of Technology. John Patrick Walsh, AIA also was also appointed by the the Westerly Town Council and serves as Chairman to the Town of Westerly Building Code of Appeals Board,  He is also the former Chairman of the Town of Westerly Architecture Review Board.

Prior to opening the firm John had gained 12+ years’ experience working for several diverse architecture and design firms in Arkansas, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. He has extensive experience in high-end residential architecture, historic preservation and adaptive re-use, coastal design, post-and-beam construction, and both small and larger high-end commercial and institutional projects.  

John is an avid sailor and also enjoys traveling abroad or to Ireland to visit family with his wife Noreen, or simply enjoying southern RI and spending time with their dog "Fitch" and horse "Callie".

James Frink, AIAS
Associate/Design Professional
James Frink has been with the firm since July 2012 and holds an Associate of Architecture from Three Rivers Community College, as well as a Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture Degree's from Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, and is also an NCARB Member.  Jim was a former student of John's at Three River's and undoubtedly brings an added dimension to the firm with an indelible work ethic, an incredible proficiency in 3D design (Revit) and Photoshop, construction knowledge, and his overall willingness and desire to assist in all manners of practice. Jim is currently pursuing completion of his NCARB Licensing Exams.

Jim has also served as a Member of the Ashaway Ambulance Association Board of Directors and remains an Active Member of the Ashaway Volunteer Fire Department.  Additionally he serves as a member of the Westerly Architecture Review Board.  Jim stays busy with his wife Jess and their gorgeous daughter enjoying down time with family or golfing.
